Have you ever seen such a wicked idea?! A golden Printer! Does it lay golden eggs as well? Kidding aside, I don't really know whats with the gold. But then it won't fall under the "Strange Luxury Gadgets" if we know the answer to that now don't we? Could it be for those fanatic Hp Printer colletctors? It's for auction at the starting price of US$299, and I have no doubt it will be doubled or trippled in no less time at all. I wonder though why they use the HP-35 model when they have a wide variety of more dignified models to choose from. And mind you, this golden thing actually works! Can you just imagine, printing your annual report on a golden printer? That's just way too cool! And the best thing is, ones it broke down to an irepairable state, you can always have it melt down to make into another item, a golden fax machine perhaps?
