I've been transacting online payments for the past year with blog companies. Two of the more common methods I have been using include
Xoom and direct bank deposits - PayPal is still on "beta" here in the Philippines.

Lately, another fund transfer service is gaining ground in
iKobo. Claimed to be more efficient than Xoom (there are reports that transactions get suspended for no particular reason - no worries here, it just sucks to have to redo them and wait for nothing) and still cheaper than Wester Union, iKobo follows through with the use of VISA worldwide.
Receivers can receive funds through a Visa debit card and senders can transact payments with their Visa credit cards worldwide. Of course, the disadvantage is that it won't work if you have a Mastercard.
