
Most of the time patients or relatives of the patients gets annoyed with us hospital personnel when we ask them questions about the patients. They go like “Why are you asking me this right now? Can’t you see we have a life and death situation here?!” or “Shut up and please tend to my friend! Help her blah blah!!” Guys, I know your tense and all, after all it’s someone close to you that needs primary attention, but what about us? I work as an ER nurse and I have to admit that I have a fair share of shouts coming from this people, who in the first place you cannot put the blame into. But people you must know that this information that we are getting from you are relevant ones, you can’t expect us to play Nostradamus and just blindly tend to your love ones, I mean we are not psychics to know what exactly is wrong and most of all, we don’t want to cause further
Honestly, this EMI 911 rCard is a gift from heaven! Not just to us people in the health care profession but mostly for the patients themselves. I mean in a life and death situation, a matter of second counts. Good thing technology is creeping its way up even more in the health care field. This is one helpful thing I won’t mind paying for.
