I'm trying out an alpha version of Songbird from Songbirdnest.com. This application is dubbed as the "Firefox of Music."The open source application is described to be a desktop audio jukebox and web browser combined into one.
The app has shut down on my PC several times (it is still in alpha) but I do encourage people to try out this new user interface. It is like combining your web browser with iTunes.
Nonetheless you can try this application by downloading it from the website. The app is available in multiple platforms.
