I've never had a fancy for Sony Ericsson phones. My wife has the old T630 and it was not easy to compose SMS on it. But now my mind could change after seeing the new W830i. Its basically a simplified version of the W850i slider phone. The W830i features 2-inch 260k color, 240 x320 pixels LCD display, FM Radio, a 2.0 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP, Walkman Music player 2.0 which supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, m4a formats. It has also support for EDGE, Netfront HTML browser as well as a RSS reader.

The W830i will be have a default PlayNow 3.0 direct music download service which features Sony BMG artists as well as operator over-the-air (OTA) music download services.
