One bag or two?
In deciding that next bag purchase, do consider how many things are you willing to stuff inside. I personally carry a portable computer, several doodads and a DSLR + 2 lenses which totals to a HUGE amount of bag space. But do I really need to take all of these things with me all the time? Which is why I carry two bags with me - a Sumdex for the camera + slot for an extra lens and a Crumpler for my 12 incher.
Remeber that the overall goal is to remain mobile - carrying too many bags is one for the books and carrying one huge bag that doesn't have everything inside may look a bit silly. But between the two, I'd go for the latter - it is better to have more than less.
