After having used a messenger bag for aesthetic purposes and easy access to gadgets, I've realized that there is one compromise to carrying a sling around your body: if you're a bit concerned about fashion, you may notice that after a while, slinging your messenger bag around your body will cause your jeans / pants to fade. This happens because your bag is constantly rubbing against your pants - eep!
