If you are secretly planning to use Zune with your Mac, Microsoft has read your mind and made Zune completely non-Mac compatible. Its kind of a lose-lose situation for both MS and Apple. Like MS, Apple also won't welcome Microsoft  into the iTunes territory because it fears losing market share. Business is business.

So, for now (and believe me I don't see it happening in the near future for the obvious monopolistic reasons) Microsoft is not making a Mac version and exclusively offering Zune on Windows only.  Moreover, Microsoft has earlier made it clear that they are only targeting MP3 player less people  but that's like less than 2% of the world's population ? 

I wonder if Mac users will prefer Zune instead of iPod anyway.
