Poor filing. Unlike Macs that have applications drag themselves to the Application folder, third party Win XP programs are free to frolick and create directories and subdirectories everywhere, even in places we didn't know existed.
Just like how most games save data on the My Documents folder (on XP) instead of their root directory, usage gets a bit less intuitive. One would have to recreate these folders if they wanted to export saved games on other PCs.
