Broadband service provider Bulldog has been slapped by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for a series of misleading press and TV commercials that
were making fool of its new consumers by promising 'up to 8Mbps broadband' service. And believe me, punishment of Bulldog will not necessarily have its competitors throw a champagne party after office hours. The ruling could have wider implications on other broadband providers as many of them falsely promot e their speed with the prefix, 'up to' and the poor consumers similar to the ass running behind the carrot never gets the main thing. But all wont be at loss as the people or business set ups that come under the 3 km radius of the exchange generally won't find a drop in speed.
