
Wal-Mart played a somersault when New York Post carried an article saying the retail giant will order less for the DVD movies from the studios who are contemplating iTunes sales. In its quick and hurried press release, Wal-Mart denied such 'false' claims vehemently
saying, "While we recognize there are various current and potential providers of this service, we are not dissuading studios from conducting business with other providers." I am not sure how much that sound convincing even to the Wal-Mart because its only some time ago they reacted like a frustrated wimpy teen schoolgirl when Apple started to buy TV shows. Later they found that Apple didn't make a dent on their store sales. They are still insecure….
