Germany is home to many strange things. One of these is German MP3 player manufactuer TrekStor that released three models of players where one is overpriced as a luxury device costing over $20,000.

I'm not sure whether these models were launched all at the same time (the two regular models have a choice of FM tuner to be included) but it is quite sad that the special 20k model was launched simulataneously if I am not mistaken.

From a marketing perspective, it doesn't do it good, being placed as "the high end of the three." These special luxury models should be launched independently.
