With  the popularity of the Walkman phone, SE may be capitalizing on this by developing their own music service similar to iTunes, before Nokia overtakes them in their Loudeye purchase earlier this month.

Phone developers are now becoming mobile multimedia service providers. For as long as I don't get locked out on my music with DRM and able to download higher bitrate music not just for my phone, then why not?
