Music is big business.....That's what Samsung has concluded..
After Microsoft, now Samsung wants to ape the success model of Apple's iTunes music store. The Korean giant will try to roll out a parallel integration between music software and portable devices (read: Apple iPOd). It will be interesting to see, how a hardware company's journey shape up in the future because Samsung does
not have any online music store connection like Apple. Samsung, however, will surely take some lessons from Microsoft, which plans not only a music store but also Zune music products.
Samsung has already struck an exclusive deal with MusicNet. MusicNet in conjunction with Samsung will launch a music subscription service and download service probably in December in , and and will later expand it across Europe and
Microsoft will shell out its own branded music player and online music service. Apple also is doing the same. Samsung, however, it seems, thinks otheriwse and will co-brand the services with MusicNet. A fight offing between these two in the long run? Just kidding.
