Ahead of the Paris Motor Show, Volkswagen has launched new Touran Compact MPV with a new feature that will make parking in tight spots super easy for clumsy drivers worldwide. It's called ParkAssist and

exclusively developed by the in-house engineers. A control unit in the car while utilizing sensors positioned at the back and at the front end of the automobile will determine whether the available space and trajectory is ideal or not. Wait, if you are overwhelmed by the system there is more. There are acoustic and visual displays to guide the driver to the perfect parking start position and once the inundated driver selects the reverse gear the ParkAssist mechanism takes over and parks itself in less than 15 seconds.
Great when you need to rush for meetings downtown. Wonder if I can use this for the next learner driver's testing.
