Adding yet another whisper to the existing rumor clad Xbox 360 with HD DVD. DigiTimes reports that Miscrosoft plans to create a version of the
Xbox 360 with a built in HD DVD drive. The publication from Taiwan has an inside into the story and it seems quite believable because Microsoft is looking for a manufacturer in the Asean region. And if everything goes as planned, the magazine retorts the HD DVD Xbox may see the light of the day by the first half of 2007. However, I am a bit confused, with two Xbox 360 already available in the stores and another one coming out before Christmas, what point MS tries to attain with the external HD DVD drive is beyond my guess. Microsoft is turning into a dinosaur day by day.
