I have always thought that forking out more than USD 40 for a computer keyboard or mouse would be daylight robbery. Well since I bought my most expensive ever keyboard – Microsoft's Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 at USD 60, I've never looked at a
non-branded keyboard ever as its been useful to alleviate RSI problems on my wrist. That keyboard really takes the strain out of your wrists even after 10 hours of hard keystrokes.
Talking about hardware, how can a keyboard be complete without a mouse. Its not just any mouse but its a Microsoft Wireless Laser mouse 5000. This wireless animal would be a perfect companion for my sub $60 keyboard above. Its a wireless model, which I don't really like as fitting in batteries is so earth-unfriendly but mobility is important to some people.
It will fit in the office perfectly, with a six months battery life but that might be shorten if you play games. It has 1000dpi, built in magnifier just like my keyboard and 4-Way Scroller to surf faster. Check out the review as it goes against the laser 6000 and the Logitech MX 610.
