Good news for all the 'value for money' dealers. Apple is quietly dropping the price of its U2 Special Edition from $329 to a modest $279. I think the move is made to make it competitive as the 5G iPod is all set to
launch in the market. Apple plans to price tag the 5G iPod for $249. This one gives 14 hours of uninterrupted audio playback and 3.5 hours of video. I am not sure whether this latest gadget from Apple (see image) is a recycled version or not. It looks like an old version to me. By paying $30 extra why not get the Signature Rolling Stones iPod instead?
