Gone are the days of uneven pricing and persuading consumers with baseless false product attributes. This is quite a new concept and if this one gets into the market after routine testing and pre-testing, the Barcode industry may no longer remain the same. Fujitsu has been planning and working on the idea of invisible barcodes in its
backyard for quite some time now and it seems with FP (Fine Picture), is now all set to make an entry into the market. The FP code will enable invisible barcode on the products, consisting of thin yellow lines, which is invisible to naked human eyes. However, when you place your cell phone over the product the code will list all the pricing information for you. Not only that, it will also link you to the internet for more product related information. Another good reason not to leave your cell phone at home.
