The analog phone really should be trembling in its old fashioned boots right now. One more step towards making it completely obsolete has come in Sharp's new

broadband fax machine. What makes this thing so great is you can send PDF or TIFF files to it through an email account. It'll also take those old-school analog faxes and email them to your workstation as well. It's a great hybrid machine apparently, blending analaog capabilities with the digital assets found on many office copiers these days. Once the technology comes down even more in price, the days of the analog telephony phone will surely be numbered.

Anyone know if UX-B800se can program part of an email address in storage? I want my customers to just type the fax number they want to send their fax to and press a button that would be preprogrammed as "@faxmail.com" and then hit send. Would make so much easier if the ".com" button could be programmed with whatever I want.
