The Gadgeteer has posted a review of the Tekkeon ET3000 ezTalker Digital Bluetooth Headset with positive results and some minor annoyances.
Let's start with the annoyances first; the headset is quite huge compared to other BT headsets, has a very bulky style and doesn't really fit securely over the ear. Looking at the ear piece, I can understand what the reviewer is talking about. It looks like an awkwardly huge and thick semi-circle sitting on your ear.
With all that said, the features and benefits of the ET3000 seem to far outweigh those few minor details. The one greatest feature would be the OLED display, which acts almost like your compacted cell phone display, allowing you to view things like caller ID, phone numbers, battery life, and connection status.
Based on the user review, it seems that the ET3000 is also very user friendly, allowing ease of issuing voice commands, pairing with other BT devices and easy to figure out button commands. Add to that the strong battery life, comfortable fit (albeit not that secure), the ability to wear it on both ears and pretty good call quality; the ET3000 is one heck of a performer that would be worth giving a try if you're looking for a BT headset at the moment.
