PC Magazine has a feature on a very useful application for taking screenshots. While I use SnapNDrag for the Mac, ShotSender is a powerful tool that takes screenshots once you launch it. The "sender" part of ShotSender allows you to quickly email screenies - which is what the devs anticipated about the primary use of screenshots.When ShotSender is launched it automatically takes a screenshot of your desktop. The image will appear in two different formats (JPG and GIF). Click on the file format you want (it'll then be highlighted) and adjust the image quality to High, Medium, or Low. For photographic images you're usually best off selecting the JPG format; images will look better and be smaller. For graphs and standard application windows GIF format usually works best.
