Samsung, a reliable tech company to say the least, has said they plan to release a 4GB flash drive to be compatible with upcoming Microsoft OS, Vista. They say it'll be completely solid-state and couple with the new Microsoft Windows feature "Ready boost," it will virtually eliminate hard drive delay speeds…so no more waiting for a drive to start spinning before your laptop or desktop starts doing anything. This 4 gig beauty will be just 2 inches thick and can be mounted to the motherboard virtually anywhere. Yes, you read right, a hard drive that is mounted directly to the motherboard. Samsung says that the release date of the SSD will be sometime very near the release of Windows Vista. That means pretty late in 2007!
