Designed for those working in the rough and tough, Tripod Data Systems' Recon X-Series pocket PCs seems to be one tough cookie. It is made to withstand almost anything that you can throw at it, i.e. high/low temperatures, drops, dust, water, etc. This baby comes in the standard 200MHz 200x or the higher end 400MHz 400x. Other basic features include an integrated microphone, WiFi, Bluetooth, 256MB of flash memory and weighs in at a little over 800 grams. This model comes in 2 Operating System flavours. The standard PDA comes with the Windows Mobile OS, while a Linux version is available as well for the penguin fans.
