 As cited in the article, Pacific Media Associates analyst Rosemary Abowd says prices for a 37" flat-panel TV in 2005 would have set you back $4,000, yet now some models of the same size can be found for only $1,000. From January to May in this year alone, the prices on flat-panel TVs has fallen a total of 12 percent.
