Windows Vista MVP Terry Straton has provided us with a look at a few new features For Windows Vista Running On Tablet PCs.
Some of the more useful functions include "flicks", which flick of the pen in a particular direction. With this, A user can make use of just about any action or application Tablet PC running Vista with a flick of the pen or by quickly writing a few letters on the ActiveWords InkPad.
Other features include the fact that the keys are no longer highlighted when tapped with the pens. While this may SEEM like a downgrade, this improvement prevents others from seeing what you are tapping and helps with password security.
Windows Vista also promises handwriting-training improvement, which until now has been unimpressive especially when compared to more established handwriting recognition technology like Palm's Graffiti.
All this sounds great, but with Windows Vista delayed for the Nth time now, you have to wonder when users are going to be able to enjoy all these features for our Tablet PCs.
