Only Microsoft could fly in the face of standard practices and actually charge for a
Beta version of a program. If your company was planning on testing the new Beta version of Office 2007 you should be forewarned you'll have to cough up same cash to Mr. Gates and company. Sure, it's a whopping $1.50 per download, but considering that open-source alternatives exist, it's nothing if not curious as to why Microsoft would actually be charging for what is sure to be an imperfect version of their newest suite of productivity applications.
