week has announced their new XPS and Dimension 9200 desktop PCs. They'll have Intel Core 2 Duo processors and they're said to be about 50% more efficient in the graphics processing realm. If you're looking to upgrade and spare a thousand bucks or so, the Precision 390 is a great buy. Dell uses top hardware for all peripherals as well, so you know you'll be getting a machine that'll last you for some time. I still have an old P3 Dimension that is running like the tank it is. Dell will as always customize your PC to your specs, but they really made a decision with this new run to make gamers and digital camera lovers very happy with their ability to crunch and handle graphics files with aplomb.
