ZyPad WL 1000 from Eurotech is a PC that can be worn around one's wrist, weighing 300g. The WL 1000 can be powered by either the Windows CE or Linux platform. It runs on a Raza Microelectronics 32-bit MIPS-based AU 1100 processor clocked at 400MHz and comes with 64MB each of flash RAM and flash ROM with the option to expand the limited memory via an SD card slot. You navigate through the ZyPad WL 1000 via the 3.5" QVGA touch screen with automatic contrast adjusting capability. Other features include an 11-key backlit keypad, WiFi, GPS & Bluetooth connectivity, and stereo audio I/O. Expect to fork out around $2,500 for one of these but I don’t think you’d want to update your Excel sheets on the small screen.

I wonder why Parvus, a military contractor for the US, created this. For the super-soldier of the future? :-o
