If you've tried creating a widget from scratch, you'd have to go through several annoying steps that negate the whole ease-of-use for the Macintosh lifestyle.
So Apple accidentally releases Dashcode. And now you can make your own corporate widgets such as site searches. The beauty of this is that you can already easily create a corporate presence on the user-end's notebooks. And since they are using Macs .. well .. Hehe.
