Toshiba 4GB SDHC to be released

1Toshiba_4GB_SDHC.jpgToshiba has jumped on the Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) memory card bandwagon by launching its new 4GB SDHC card 3 months from now in September 2006. Ths new card is much faster than that of regular SD cards, featuring a minimum write speed of 4MB/s. It also boasts CPRM3 copy protection technology as an added security feature. SDHC cards are projected to reach capacities of up to 32GB in the near future, but that would be a pity since the majority of current devices and memory card readers are not compatible with SDHC, forcing consumers to upgrade their products in the future against their will. There goes the spare change in your pocket.
