
The enginners at Sony Ericsson have churned out the first SE i-mode compatible mobile phone in the K610im.
The K610im is a classic Sony Ericsson handset design - it's cased in black and there's a landscape-oriented two-megapixel, 2.5x digital zoom camera on the back. The addition of 3G support includes an extra, front-mounted camera for video calls.
The way we understand i-mode: it is basically a monopoly of the WAP service. Traditional online content usually comes from many sources. With i-mode, information is screened and hosted by a single entity. In Japan, this is NTT DoCoMo.
