Text quality is impeccable but not perfect. The only drawback for a device of this caliber is the lack of a fax function that every self-respecting office should have. The 15 page-per-minute speed might not cut it in today's demanding environment, but the SCX-4100 is more than adequate for home use at the current price that can't be beat.
