Do you remember that toy called "My Buddy" that came out in the 80's and was just really marketed as a doll that was "OK" for boys? 'My Buddy, My Buddy, wherever I go, he goes'. Yeah...I remember my first Buddy. Well now you can bring back all those sweet childhood memories with something a little different, however, not quite as cool as a doll for boys. A company called IOSPIRIT has introduced product that adds additional features to your Apple Remote that came with your MacBook Pro.
If you were anything like me, you were a bit dismayed by the lack of controlability and features provided with your Apple Remote. Come to think of it, I remember being a bit dismayed by the lack of coolness and features (such as the abiltiy to run, jump, play war ect.) of my first My Buddy doll. Hmmm...I am beginning to recognize a pattern here.
Apparently the new Remote Buddy allows you to take control of software such as Powerpoint, Real Player, and various others. So now that this new Remote Buddy is "beefed" up, is it time to revamp the 80's classic "My Buddy"? Maybe he should actually do something, so we have a good excuse to buy our boys dolls. Or maybe not...hey....leave My Buddy alone!
