JVC has unveiled a lovely looking projector in the Japanese market. At a price of $12,500, it is by no means cheap even if you get a full 1080p D-ILA based projector that will fit regally into any home theater system. The high price tag does not justify its poor brightness level of only 600 lumens, so you cannot watch your movie in the dark entirely. Thankfully, it has a 2500:1 contrast ratio and a high resolution of 2048 x 1536 to satisfy your high definition urges. This projector will be available on July 1st 2006 onwards.
