Internet tablets are having a harder time catching on. Nokia hopes to add a new dimension to the tablet PC that makes it work more like a PDA and less like a notebook computer. This handheld tablet is supposed to replace the PDA in so much that gives you all the features of a nice PDA, but replaces it with a much larger screen, (my eyes say, "Thank you, Nokia."). The Nokia 770 comes equipped with WIFI and Bluetooth, so you can do all your internet browsing at home or in the office, wherever you can catch a wireless connection.
The 770 comes equipped with 64 megabytes of RAM and 128 megabytes of flash memory, not exactly impressive. Apparently, reviews have shown that this device really does surf the net pretty well, and users find that it is much more user friendly than any PDA or cell phone with Internet connection.
The 770 can't exactly fit into your pockets, unless your still sporting "Hammer Pants" like my dad, but it is smaller than your laptop. But my question is if you need something portable, are you really willing to bust out your Hammer Pants (I know they are still in your closet) to have pockets big enough to carry it? Or maybe if you're super cool, then you can put it in your "fanny pack". Those always look so stylish when they are teamed with the Hammer Pants, just ask my dad.
