Multiple Monitors for Apple's PowerBook
zv-powerscape-ultrahd_rf700x250.jpgI have been looking for a solution to this problem.  I have a 12" Apple PowerBook that I love.  It is perfect size, good battery life, and lightweight.

The problem is that when I get home, I need to multi-task and the 12" screen is a major hindrance.

I have looked at different options for getting multiple LCD monitors (and HD LCD TV's) but none seem to work well.

I don't have a PCMCIA card slot on this laptop which creates the first problem.  Second problem is that I don't want to spend $2,000 on one large monitor.

I would also love to have one single 32" monitor, or LCD TV, but it has to be under $1,000 (my self-imposed budget for this).

I went to Costco yesterday to hook up my PowerBook to a LCD TV, but the resoultion wasn't high enough, and my icons were huge...with no additional screen real estate.

Has anyone else encountered this?  Everyone I've talked to says that getting multiple monitors was the best things they've ever done, do you agree?

Is there an answer?
