I constantly search for relevant articles, news, white papers, products and services related to my job. I’m an entrepreneur at heart and an ideas girl which compels me to research and find a solution. We all benefit from going to a search engine such as Google. Information empowers everyone.
One business tool I use which cuts my research time in half is Watson by Intellext. I installed it a few days ago in my laptop and after using it, I decided to install it at my office. It has helped me get more results in different places. It separates it into categories for easier access by Top Results, News, Websites, Blogs and Shopping.
As an example, I was writing a process at the office for a client and I needed a solution to present. Without thinking twice, I looked over at my Watson sidebar and it came up with several sites for me to visit. I zeroed in by highlighting a phrase in my document and it came up with different results. I finished the final document before the deadline. My boss and the client were impressed!
This lovely biz tool is for free. But if you want it more customizable and have access to its subscription services, you can purchase it on a monthly or yearly basis. Better yet, purchase it on a one time fixed fee of $199.95. I am thinking of doing so, because I know it’s worth the investment.
