So you just bought the latest gadget so you can maximize your time while on the go. It could have all the latest features with more connectivity that you could possibly use in your lifetime. But all that technology is useless if you don’t have enough juice to power it up. Sure, you can probably charge it in your car if you have the cigarette lighter adapter or an electrical outlet.
But what if for some reason you find yourself in a desolate location and there is no place to charge up your mobile phone or PDA?
The solution? A solar powered charger of course! I haven’t really used one but if you’re into saving the environment or just want convenience like me, you’re going to need some kind of insurance. This is to ensure that all the money you invest in all that technology will actually deliver, especially during emergencies.
There are a few products out in the market but I have yet to see one in a store. I’ve searched and found that the iSun has the features I need.
I know what you’re thinking, “What if there is no sun?” Well, there is also a windmill type charger available if you really want to cover all your bases.
